An annual interfaith event that brings together political, religious, civic, and international leaders to pray for Ukraine — for peace, unity, victory, justice, and spiritual renewal.
This year, the Prayer Breakfast will take place on August 25, 2025, in Kyiv, gathering Ukrainian high-level officials, international friends of Ukraine, faith leaders, military personnel, chaplains, families of fallen heroes, as well as charitable organizations and youth leaders.
The event is held under the patronage of the President of Ukraine and continues the tradition that began in the United States in 1953.
The idea of the event
At the heart of the event lies prayer — as an act of national unity, spiritual renewal, and international solidarity. The Prayer Breakfast serves as a space for sincere dialogue on values, faith, freedom, responsibility, and the power of collective prayer in the darkest moments of history.
In 2025, the event will carry a special spirit: it will culminate a global 24-hour prayer initiative beginning on August 24 — Ukraine’s Independence Day. The entire world will come together in prayer for Ukraine.
For security reasons, the venue will be announced in a separate letter prior to the event.
